Welcome to the New Summit Wine Club! We are a passionate group of wine enthusiasts, led by founder Andrew Barns, who have come together to bring you the finest and most unique wines from around the world, with a special emphasis on South Africa.
At New Summit Wine Club, our mission is to seek out and share the most interesting and delicious wines with our members. We believe that wine should be a source of adventure, discovery and joy, and our goal is to make this experience accessible to all.
Our expert team scours the world, from the rolling hills of Tuscany to the fertile vineyards of the Cape, to find the best and most exciting wines for our members to enjoy. Wine is one of the most civilized things in the world and one of the most natural things of the world that has been brought to the greatest perfection, and it offers a greater range for enjoyment and appreciation than, possibly, any other purely sensory thing.
A homey little winery and vineyard in the picturesque hills. Delicious wines, nice variety, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Beautiful environment for wine tasting – laid back, rural setting, chairs outside to slowly enjoy your tasting, perfect experience.
A complimentary tasting is included in the mansion tour. We tried four different wines that we really enjoyed. After the tasting we decided to get a glass and sit outside. The staff recommended a bottle as it would be cheaper for three of us, so we got the Rose Brut and enjoyed it.
